Cannot boot from Windows 7 Installation DVD disc in HP Pavilion. When i switch on laptop, screen showing the message 'The selected boot device failed. Press Enter to continue.' Reason: Legacy Support disabled in BIOS. Solution: Go to BIOS Setup system configuration settings, enable Legacy Support. When Legacy Support is enabled, BIOS will load compatibility support module (CSM) to support Legacy OS such as Windows 7. Note: In HP Pavilion series laptop, press F10 key to enter to BIOS Setup.How to Use:Open destination folder and locate file notes.txt, open it and read step by step.
